SERVICES IN DETAIL

Websites, booking information and communication during the stay.

The scope is defined at the start of the project according to the available content, its intended use and the relevant audience.

  • Complete hotel and accommodation websites
  • Room and property descriptions
  • Services, experiences and tourism offers
  • Frequently asked questions and practical guest information
  • Communication tailored to the DACH market

Structure for a multilingual website

For small or family-run hotels and properties, the German structure can be developed from the existing Spanish content.

  • Property introduction
  • Rooms, services and experiences
  • Arrival and stay information
  • Location, contact and booking details
  • A clear Spanish and German structure

Websites for Latin America

Translation and localisation of German content for audiences in Latin America. The target country or region is defined at the start of the project.

  • Websites and landing pages
  • Service and product descriptions
  • Copy for hotels, accommodation and tourism services
  • Terminology and tone aligned with the defined audience
  • Final review by a native speaker of Latin American Spanish

WORKING METHOD

Personal handling and direct consultation.

At the outset, I examine the source texts and audience as well as the business’s identity, history and intended effect. Terminology, tone, information structure and scope are then agreed on this basis. I translate, localise and review every text myself.

  • Identity, source text and communication objective
  • Terminology, tone and information structure
  • Translation and localisation into German
  • Final editorial review for language and consistency

THE DACH MARKET

Requirements for German-language hotel and tourism content.

In German-language hotel and tourism content, information density, terminology, forms of address and structure depend on the audience, booking channel and type of offer.

During localisation, I assess which information should be retained, clarified or given a different emphasis for the DACH market. Decisions on tone and structure are agreed with the business.

The German version is based on the Spanish original and the business’s identity. It brings the expectations of German-speaking guests together with the project’s own perspective and character.

Typical clients

  • Hotels, lodges and boutique accommodation in Latin America with a German-speaking audience
  • Tourism businesses with a multilingual website
  • Agencies and internal teams that need external support for their German version

Professional focus

  • Translation from Spanish into German
  • Localisation for Germany, Austria and Switzerland
  • Hotels and tourism
  • Direct professional consultation throughout the project

PROJECT PROCESS

From understanding the business to final delivery.

01

Understand the business and its content

You send the source texts, website link and key project details. We also establish what the business stands for, whom it addresses and what the content should convey.

02

Define the linguistic framework

We agree the scope, terminology, tone, priorities and schedule. You then receive a proposal with the price and project timeline.

03

Translate and localise

I transfer the content into German and adapt wording, structure and form of address to the agreed audience and context of use.

04

Review and deliver

Before delivery, I check completeness, language, tone and consistency. The texts are supplied in the agreed format.

ADDITIONAL SERVICES

English versions and reviews of existing content.

An English version can be included as a complementary service. Structure, terminology and tone are coordinated across the language versions.
